Quick start

The shortest path from a new account to your first scored device.

Before you start

  • A Trimtab account for the Bridge (see Signing in)
  • Local administrator rights on a Windows 10, Windows 11, or Windows Server device
  • The device can reach https://app.trimtabsec.com on port 443

1. Create a client

In the Bridge, open Clients. Enter the client's name, tick the standards to scan for, and select Add client.

2. Create an enrollment key

Under the new client, select New enrollment key. Copy the key from the dark box right away. It's shown only once.

3. Install Lookout on a device

Download the Lookout package, then run the installer in an elevated PowerShell window:

4. See the results

Open Fleet in the Bridge. The device appears within a minute or two with its score. Select it to see what needs attention and how to fix it.
